The Users

Elena Schneider (Jaclyn Smith), a beautiful woman of questionable virtue, lives in a small town where a Hollywood production is being filmed. She is hired by a producer to "escort" aging movie star Randy Brent (Tony Curtis). Surprisingly, the two develop a genuine rapport, and she accompanies him back to Los Angeles, hoping to help revitalize his acting career while also launching her own. Randy's comeback becomes complicated, though, and their unlikely romance begins to founder.
