Wedding in White

Jeannie Dougall (Carol Kane) is a quiet teenager in a quiet Canadian town. Her older brother has just come home from the war and brought a friend along for a celebratory visit. Jeannie goes out with them for a fun night of drinking, but things quickly get out of hand when her brother's friend corners her and rapes her. A devastated Jeannie confides in her parents, Jim (Donald Pleasence) and Mary (Doris Petrie), but her situation is made even more difficult by their strict religious views.
