Filmmaker Keven McAlester explores the life of legendary vocalist and songwriter Roger Kynard "Roky" Erickson, who, during the '60s, fronted the influential rock 'n' roll band 13th Floor Elevators. Following extensive psychedelic drug use and a stint in a mental hospital, Roky spent the greater partof the last four decades suffering from schizophrenia.
