Ffernfael ab Idwal

Ffernfael ab Idwal or Ithel was a late 8th-century king of Gwent in southeast Wales. His name seems to mean "strong ankles". His father was Idwal or Ithel ap Morgan, king of Glywyssing, Gwent, and Ergyng.
