Robert Michael Fischer (played by Cillian Murphy) is a wealthy businessman and son of Maurice Fischer, making him the heir to the latter's multi-billion dollar business empire. Fischer is targeted by Cobb, Arthur, Eames, and Ariadne after being hired by Saito.
