Max Friedrich Meyer was a German-born American psychologist. His full original name, according to what his younger son, Otto Herman Meyer told his children, Alice Virginia Meyer and Colton William Meyer, was Maximilian Fredericus Meyer. Meyer was born in Danzig as the son of a house painter.
