Siddi

The Siddi, also known as Sidi, Siddhi, Sheedi, Sawahili or Habshi, are an ethnic Swahili group inhabiting India and Pakistan. Members are descended from the Bantu peoples of the East African region. Some were merchants, sailors, indentured servants, slaves and mercenaries.
