Venlafaxine

Venlafaxine, sold under the brand name Effexor among others, is an antidepressant medication of the serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor class. It is used to treat major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and social phobia. It is taken by mouth.
