Hotstar is an Indian digital and mobile entertainment platform launched on February 6, 2015 by Star India. It is owned by Novi Digital Entertainment, a subsidiary of Star India, which itself is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company India. It provides streaming media and video-on-demand services.
