Hirosaki

Hirosaki is a city on the Japanese island of Honshu. It's centered on the 17th-century Hirosaki Castle. The surrounding Hirosaki Park is known for its thousands of cherry trees. Preserved samurai homes in the Nakamachi area include the Ito and Umeda family residences. Fujita Memorial Garden is a traditional, 2-tiered garden with a teahouse. To the south, Saishoin Temple is built around an ornate, 5-story pagoda.
