2-Phosphoglyceric acid, or 2-phosphoglycerate, is a glyceric acid which serves as the substrate in the ninth step of glycolysis. It is catalyzed by enolase into phosphoenolpyruvate, the penultimate step in the conversion of glucose to pyruvate.
