About Abbey Of Saint-Cybard
The Abbey of Saint-Cybard was a Benedictine monastery located just outside the northern city walls of Angoulême. According to Gregory of Tours in the Historia Francorum, the monastery was founded by Saint Eparchius in the sixth century.
