Sheikh Abdullah Bin Khaz'al was the son of Sheikh Khazʽal Ibn Jabir of the Emirate of Mohammerah, overlord of the Muhaisin tribal confederation and Emir of the oil rich emirate of Mohammerah, today part of the Iranian province of Khuzistan.
