Abraham Ashkenazi Life story
Avraham Ashkenazi was a Sephardi chief rabbi. Rabbi Ashkenazi was born at Janishar, near Salonica, in 1813. Aged fifteen, he was taken by his father to Jerusalem, where he studied rabbinical literature in the various colleges.
