Ahmet Mithat Efendi (Ahmed Midhat) Life story
Ahmet Mithat was an Ottoman journalist, author, translator and publisher during the Tanzimat period. In his works, he was known as Ahmet Mithat Efendi, to distinguish him from the contemporary politician Midhat Pasha.
