In the aftermath of each aeroplane disaster, experts comb the wreckage looking for clues that may help them find what went wrong and keep it from happening again. This programme has the same intent - each episode examines individual disasters, organised by general type - extreme weather, pilot error, terrorism, systems failure and more.
