About Akali Prahlad Singh
Jathedar Prahlad Singh was a Nihang Singh and 8th Jathedar of Shiromani Panth Budha Dal. He became Jathedar of Budha Dal in 1846 and also became Jathedar of Akal Takhat. When Nihang Singhs moved out of Punjab after fighting with Patiala Ruler and British, they started moving towards Nanded.
