Al-Muhasibi Life story
Al-Harith ibn Asad ibn Abd Allah al-Anizi al-Basri, commonly known as al-Muhasibi was an Arab philosopher, and considered to be the founder of the Baghdad school of Islamic philosophy, and a teacher of the Sufi masters Junayd al-Baghdadi and Sirri Saqti. He hailed from the Arab Anazzah tribe.
