About Alagoas Antwren
The Alagoas antwren is a species of bird in the family Thamnophilidae. It is endemic to Brazil. Found only in the states of Pernambuco and Alagoas, two epicenters of extinction due to rampant deforestation in that area, its population is now thought to be less than thirty individuals and severely fragmented.
