Alec guinness began his career in 1934 as a stage actor. Appearing in a number of plays throughout the 1930s and 1940s. He made his film debut in 1939 in the briitsh film great expectations. He ewnt on to become a highly acclaimed actor. Appearing in a number of acclaimed films including kind hearts and coronets (1949). The lavender hill mob (1951). The ladykillers (1955). And lawrence of arabia (1962). He is best known for his iconic portrayal of obi-wan kenobi in the original stra wars trilogy (1977. 1980. 1983).Awards and Accolades
