Alexander Milne Calder Life story
Alexander Milne Calder was a Scottish American sculptor best known for the architectural sculpture of Philadelphia City Hall. Both his son, Alexander Stirling Calder, and grandson, Sandy Calder, became significant sculptors in the 20th century.
