Alf Padgham Life story
Alfred Harry Padgham was one of the leading British professional golfers of the 1930s and 1940s. Padgham was born in Caterham, Surrey. After finishing third at The Open Championship in 1934, and coming second in 1935, he won the 1936 Open at Hoylake.
