Alfred Edward Borthwick Life story
Alfred Edward Borthwick (1871–1955) Glasgow Life Museums. Painter, stained glass artist and printmaker, born in Scarborough, Yorkshire. Studied at Edinburgh College of Art, in Antwerp and at Académie Julian, Paris, under Adolphe Bouguereau. Served in Army in both Boer War and World War I.
