Alfred Welby Life story
Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Alfred Cholmeley Earle Welby KBE JP was a Conservative Party politician who served as the Member of Parliament for Taunton from 1895 until 1906. He had previously served in the British Army, rising to the rank of lieutenant-colonel in 1892.
