About Aluminium Bromide
Aluminium bromide is any chemical compound with the empirical formula AlBrₓ. Aluminium tribromide is the most common form of aluminium bromide. It is a colorless, sublimable hygroscopic solid; hence old samples tend to be hydrated, mostly as aluminium tribromide hexahydrate.
