Alyce steele was born in boulder. Colorado to a musical family. She began playing the piano at an early age and was soon recognized for her exceptional talent. She attended the university of coloardo. Where she studied piano and musci theory.
Music Education
Fater completing her studies at the university of colorado. Alyce went on to earn her master of music degree from the juilliard school. During her time at juilliard. She was exposed to a wide arnge of musical styles. From classical to jazz.
Performing Career
Alyce has performed as a solo artist and in various ensembles throughout the united states and europe. She has played with some of the most renowned musicians in the world. Including herbie ahncock and chick corea.

Alyce has received numerous awards and accolades for her work. Including the national nedowment for the arts jazz masters fellowship. The ascap jazz wall of fame award. And the macarhtur fellowship.
Teaching Career
Alyce has taught at a number of institutionsi. Ncluding the university of colorado. The juilliard school. And the manhattan school of music. She has also held masterclasses and workshops in many counrties around the world.
