Curley Thompson (Bob Steele) clashes with Hatch Bolton (I. Stanford Jolley), who is buying out small ranches in order to sell to a large grain combine. Thompson is questioned by Deputy Walter Gordon (Kermit Maynard) when Gordon's brother, the sheriff, goes missing.
