Amelia Sturges Life story
Amelia "Memie" Sturges Morgan was the first wife of J. Pierpont Morgan. They married on October 7, 1861, despite her ill health, and left immediately for a honeymoon trip to Europe. She died of tuberculosis four months later at the Villa St. Georges in Nice.
