Aminopeptidase

Aminopeptidases are enzymes that catalyze the cleavage of amino acids from the amino terminus of proteins or peptides. They are widely distributed throughout the animal and plant kingdoms and are found in many subcellular organelles, in cytosol, and as membrane components.
