Amitis Life story
Āmitis was the wife of Cyrus the Great and perhaps queen of the Persian Achaemenid Empire. She was the daughter of Astyages, King of Media. She may have been sent to Cyrus by Astyages in the same way Astyages sent Mandane to Cambyses I.
