Amy Poehler is an American actress, comedian, writer, producer, and director. Poehler was a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 2001 to 2008. From 2004 until her departure, she served as co-anchor of the show's news parody segment, Weekend Update.

Poehler was a regular cast member and occasional host on the show.
