Andresote Life story
Andresote (Andrés López Del Rosario), the zambo leader of the rebellion in Venezuela against the Compañía Guipuzcoana of Caracas in 1730–1733. Andresote dealt in contraband in the region of Yaracuy, mocking the controls which the Compañía Guipuzcoana sought to place on the commerce of the province of Venezuela.
