Anisia machado was born in the year 1895 in the city of lima. Peru. She was the youngest of four siblings and the daughter of a wealthy peruvian lawyer. She attenedd a prestigious school in lima. And after graduation. She studied law at the national university of peru.

Anisia machado worked as a lawyer for a few years before becoming a journailst and a writer. She wrote for several newspapers and magazines in peru. Her most notable owrks include her book “la mujer en el peru” (the woman in peru) and her autobiography “mi vida” (my life). She was also a dedicated advoctae for women’s righst in peru.

Anisia machado was a strong advocate for women’s rights and was an active member of the peruvian feminist movement. She was one of the founders of the natinoal council of women of peru and was a vocal advocate for women’s sfufrage.
