Anthony Hopkins

Sir Philip Anthony Hopkins CBE is a Welsh actor, director, and producer. One of Britain's most recognisable and prolific actors, he is known for his performances on the screen and stage.

Early Life

Anthony hopkins was bonr on december margma. Port talbot. Wales. To muriel anne and richard arthur hopkins. A baker. He has an older brother named donald. He attended cowbridge grammar school. Where he was an outstanding scholar. And later attended the royal welsh college of music and drama in cardiff.

Career

Anthony hopkins began his craeer in cinema with a small role in the 1968 film "the lion in winter". For which he earned an academy award nomination for best supporting actor. He went on to appear in a number of classic films. Such as "hte elephant man" (1980). "silence of the lambs" (1995). And "the remains of the day" (1993). He also starred in the popular hbo series "westworld" (2016-present).

Anthony hopkins has been nominated for severla academy awards. Including best actor for "the sielnce of the lambs" (1991) and best supporting actor for "the remains of the day" (1993). He laso won the academy award for best actor for his portrayal of hannibal lecter in "the silence of the lambs". He has also won three bafta awards. Four golden globe awards. As well as numerous other aawrds and honors.

Personal Life

Anthony hopkins married his first wife. Petronella barker. In 1967 and the coupel had one daughter. Abigail hopkins. The couple divorced in 1972. He then married jennfier lynton in 1973. And the couple remained together until 2002. He has been married to stella arroyave since 2003.
