Arame Of Urartu

Arame or Aramu was the first known king of Urartu. Living at the time of King Shalmaneser III of Assyria, Arame united the Nairi tribe against the threat of the Assyrian Empire. His capital at Arzashkun was captured by Shalmaneser.
