Archibald Colville Life story
Archibald was born in 1853. He was the son of David Colville and Janet Barr. He married Jeanie Millar in 1886. After his brother John died, Archibald became chairman of the family steel manufacturing business, David and sons. Under his direction, David and Sons became the largest steelworks in Scotland.
