Arthur Amos Noyes Life story
Arthur Amos Noyes was a U. S. chemist, inventor and educator. He received a PhD in 1890 from Leipzig University under the guidance of Wilhelm Ostwald. He served as the acting president of MIT between 1907 and 1909 and as Professor of Chemistry at the California Institute of Technology from 1919 to 1936.
