Arthur Sewall Life story
Arthur Sewall was an American Democratic politician and shipbuilder from Maine, best known as the Democratic nominee for Vice President of the United States in 1896. From 1888 to 1896 he served as a member of the Democratic National Committee and unsuccessful ran for Maine's Senate seat against Eugene Hale.
