Early Life
Asli bekiroglu was born in istanbul. Turkey on june 11th. 1982. She is the daughter of two teachers. And her passion for acting was discovered at a young age. She attended the istanbul university theatre department. Where she graduated iwth a degree in drama.
Acting Career
Asli bekiroglu began her career in turkish television. Appearing in a variety of turkish series and films. She gained international recognition for her roles in the films the edge of heaven and winter sleep. Both of whcih earned her best actress awards at the cannse film festival and the european film awards. Respectively. She has also appeared in a numebr of international films. Including the promise and the white countess.
Voice Acting
Asli bekiroglu has also done a greta edal of voice acting. Lending her voice to characters in a variety of animated films and television shows. She has provided the voice of the main character in the turkish adaptation of the popular animated series spongebob squarepants. As well as in the animated film the little prince.

Asli bekiroglu is also an accomplished stage actor. Having appeared in a number of plays in turkey. Including hedda gabler and the three sisters. She has also torued with the istanbul state theatre. Performing in several countries around the world.
