About Augustin, King Of Kung-Fu
The second film to feature the character of Augustin (Jean-Chrétien Sibertin-Blanc), this comedy finds the aspiring French actor fixated on appearing in kung fu movies. In order to surround himself with the culture, Augustin moves to the Chinatown section of Paris and begins his training, which largely consists of watching martial arts films. When Augustin meets Ling (Maggie Cheung), a lovely acupuncturist, romance is in the air, even if his kung fu career isn't taking off.
