About Ayasofya Hurrem Sultan Hamam
The Haseki Hürrem Sultan Hamamı, is a sixteenth-century Turkish bath in Istanbul. It was commissioned by Hürrem Sultan, consort and legal wife of Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. It was built by Mimar Sinan on the site of historical Baths of Zeuxippus for the religious community of the nearby Hagia Sophia.
