Barbara Sharief Life story
Barbara Muhammad Sharief is an American politician and nurse. Serving as a Broward County commissioner from 2010 to 2021, she was appointed mayor from 2013 to 2014, and again from 2016 to 2017. She is the county's first African-American female and Muslim mayor.
