Bartolomeo Compagni Life story
Bartolomeo Compagni was born in Firenze (Florence), Tuscany in 1503. He was the third son of Neri COMPAGNI and Maria COMPAGNI and grandson of Dino di Neri COMPAGNI of Firenze. He went to England in about 1532 and was Principal Merchant to the Court of Henry VIII and King's Financial Agent to Edward VI.
