Battiscombe Gunn Life story
Battiscombe George "Jack" Gunn, FBA was an English Egyptologist and philologist. He published his first translation from Egyptian in 1906. He translated inscriptions for many important excavations and sites, including Fayum, Saqqara, Amarna, Giza and Luxor.
