The Battle of Heptonstall was a battle that happened in November 1643 in Hebden Bridge and Heptonstall, West Yorkshire during the First English Civil War. An army of 800 Royalists under the command of Sir Francis Mackworth attacked the Parliamentarian-held village of Heptonstall, which was located atop a steep hill.
