About Beit El Synagogue
The Beit El Synagogue, has been the center of kabbalistic study in Jerusalem for over 250 years. After 1948, it had to be rebuilt in the New City, on Rashi Street in the Ruhama neighbourhood of West Jerusalem. In 1974 though, a new yeshiva, soon to adopt the old name, was also opened in the Old City.
