Singer and horseman Gene Autry (Gene Autry) agrees to work for a traveling rodeo managed by Jennifer Benton (Virginia Grey). This angers rival rodeo owner Stag Johnson (Morgan Conway), who resolves to do whatever he can to derail Jennifer's business interests.
