Bertha Putnam Life story
Bertha Haven Putnam was an American historian, specialising on the judicial and administrative history of medieval England. Putnam grew up in Philadelphia, the daughter of George Haven Putnam, author and publisher, and son of the publisher George Palmer Putnam.
