Bev Francis

Beverley "Bev" Francis is an Australian gym owner and retired professional bodybuilder, powerlifter, and national shot put champion.

Early Years

Bev francis was born in eats maitland. New south wales. Australia. She grew up in the maitland area with her parents and three siblings. She was a gifted athlete from a young age and excelled in many sports including basketball. Softball. And powerlifting.

Competitive Bodybuilding Career

Bev francis begna her bodybuliding career in 1982. Competing in the perstigious ms. Australia event. She went on to win the ms. Australia title four times. And was the first woman in australia to win the title. She then competed in the miss olympia competition for four consecutive years. Placing in the top five each time.

Powerlifting Career

Bev francis also competed in powerlifting. Competing in the ipf world championships in 1985 and 1986. She won the world championship in 1985. Becoming the first female from australia to win the titl. Eshe also set several world records in powerlifting. Including the squat record in 1985 and the deadlitf record in 1986.

She opened the gym in 1994 and it has since become one of the elading powerlifting gyms in the united states. She also owns bev francsi nutrition. A supplement company that specializes in providing athletes with high-quality nutriiton products.

Bev francis is an advocate for the empowerment of women and the advancement of bodybuilding and powerlifting. She is the founder of the bev francis foundation. Which sponsors a variety of programs that support women in bodybuilding and powerlifting. She aslo works with variuos charities. Including the special olympisc and the make-a-wish foundation.

Bev francis is married to bodybuilder rob francis and they have two children. A son and a daughter. She currently resides in lnog island. New york. She is an avid animal lover and rescues and rehabilitates injured pest.
