Robert Joseph Carpenter, III is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and New England Patriots. He was drafted by the Cowboys in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Ohio State.
